Ciężko opisać jak zaczął się ten dzień, ponieważ dla każdego zaczął się inaczej. Wczoraj był dzień przyjazdu i w końcu, po dwóch latach, mogliśmy ujrzeć to wspaniałe miejsce i przede wszystkim ludzi.
W bramie powitał nas Mikołaj Kapała, który „celował” w nas termometrem i sprawdzał dokumenty. Następnie przeszliśmy na Komendę, gdzie oddawaliśmy dokumenty, podpisywaliśmy regulamin i otrzymywaliśmy identyfikatory. Gdy już dowiedzieliśmy się, które są nasze namioty, mogliśmy rozpakować rzeczy i się zadomowić. Niektórym było z tym ciężko, jednak ostatecznie wszystko się udało.
Nastał czas na obiad. Podano zupę ogórkową i spaghetti. Było bardzo dobre. Po obiedzie mieliśmy chwilę na odpoczynek.
Pierwsze zajęcia to oprowadzanie po obozie. Chodziliśmy do różnych miejsc, gdzie czekali druhowie i przedstawiali nam proste zasady obowiązujące na obozie. Po zajęciach mieliśmy czas wolny, który wykorzystaliśmy spędzając go z innymi uczestnikami, by naprawiać więzy. Udaliśmy się na kolację, która była podana na bogato. Był bardzo duży wybór. Następnie powitaliśmy nową druhnę Ratowniczkę, która przedstawiła swoje zasady obowiązujące na kąpielisku. Chętne osoby mogły skorzystać z wody i wykonać wieczorną kąpiel w jeziorku. Reszta osób, która odpuściła sobie tę przyjemność, odpoczywała lub spędzała czas w inny sposób.
Kolejne zajęcia były całkiem ciekawe. Polegały na grach i zabawach integracyjnych. Po pewnym czasie usiedliśmy w kręgu i śpiewaliśmy piosenki, których wszystkim było brak. To było bardzo miłe uczucie, znowu usiąść w jednym kręgu po tak długim czasie. Potem złożyliśmy meldunek i rozeszliśmy się do namiotów. Mieliśmy jeszcze 20 minut do ciszy nocnej, więc wykorzystaliśmy ten czas na przygotowania do spania. Nastała cisza nocna i w tym momencie zakończył się ten wspaniały dzień, którego każdy wyczekiwał.

It’s hard to describe how this day started, as it began differently for everyone. It was arrival day, and finally, after two years, we were once again able to see this wonderful place, but especially the people. At the gate we were greeted by Mikolaj Kapala, who “aimed” a thermometer at us and checked our documents. Then we walked over to the camp headquarters, where we handed in our registration papers,
signed the code of conduct, and received our ID-tags. We were then led to our respective tents, where we could unpack and make ourselves at home. It was hard for some of us, but ultimately everything turned out ok. Afterwards, it was lunchtime. We were served cucumber soup and spaghetti. It was very good. After lunch we had a bit of time for ourselves.
In the afternoon, the first thing on the agenda was a tour of the camp. We walked from station to station where the caretakers explained the rules governing in various areas of the campsite. Subsequently, we were granted leisure time in order to get to know the other participants. At dinner, we were served a rich, diverse meal. Later on we were introduced to the new lifeguard, who explained her rules regarding the
bathing beach. We ere then given the opportunity to go for a swim; and those who decided against this pleasure, rested or spent their time in some other way.
The evening activities, consisting of integrational games, were a lot of fun. After some time, however, we sat down in the circle and sang songs, which everyone missed dearly; it was a nice feeling to sit together once again in the circle. Afterwards, we stated the report for the evening and went away to our tents; we still had 20 minutes left till bedtime, which we used to prepare for a good night’s sleep. At last, curfew came around and thus ended this amazing day for which we all had waited for so long.
