Wczoraj część z nas uczestniczyła we Mszy Św. w Świniarach poświęconej Szefowi Jerzemu Zgodzińskiemu i zmarłemu niedawno druhowi Jurkowi Walczakowi. Druhna Kędzia powiedziała o nich kilka słów. Na gitarach grali Ola, Klara, Mikołaj i Michał. Na koniec wszyscy zaśpiewaliśmy Ogniobranie.
Po powrocie wymyślaliśmy scenariusze do naszych Fafików czyli na Festiwal Amatorskich Filmów Korczakowskich. Każdy zastęp wybrał film lub wiersz, do którego Fafik ma nawiązywać. Można lekko zmienić fabułę lub zakończenie. Druhowie podali kilka opcji, w jaki sposób można zrealizować nagranie krótkiego filmiku.
Po południu odbyły się warsztaty, które każdy wybierał na początku obozu. Są to między innymi zajęcia plastyczne, muzyczne, taneczne, sportowe, psychologiczne czy żeglarskie i niezależnie gdzie pójdziesz, wszędzie zdobywasz nowe umiejętności i dobrze się bawisz.
Wieczorem zamiast normalnego ogniska w kręgu trwała dyskusja na temat dość popularny w ostatnim czasie – temat uchodźców i emigrantów. Druh Młody zadawał nam różne pytania, które na pewno dały nam dużo do myślenia. Dla nas jedną z najważniejszych spraw, jaka była wczoraj poruszana to ta, że trzeba zmienić swoje nastawienie do tych ludzi z negatywnego na neutralne. Musimy pamiętać, że w większości nie mieli wyboru i musieli opuścić swój kraj. Nie trzeba oglądać się za nimi i wytykać palcami, to może pomóc w przystosowaniu się do społeczności, wśród której zamieszkali.

8th of July
Last night the Israeli group was honored when we were asked to lower the camp flag. It was quite a surprise as even though it was the “Israeli Day” we didn’t really expect it.
Wake-up this morning was to the sound of Israeli songs which we all prepared in Israel. Wake-up is at 8 and the music lasted for 50 minutes till it was time for breakfast. Bar M. and I (tent 11) had to be at the dining room early as we were on kitchen-duty and had to prepare the dining room. During breakfast we served the tables with anything that was missing – tea, vegetables, cheese, etc. At the end of the meal we our duty was to clean up and leave the dining room ready for lunch. We were on kitchen duty for all the meals today.
Most of the campers went off to church and we remained with a small group at camp. It was a good time to organize ourselves.
After lunch we had free time as usual and we started to think of ideas for the movie script for the film we are going to make. At 16:00 we all attended the reading of a part of the book “All My Mom’s” about Irena Sendler, an activity prepared by Batia. Today was the 5th reading, From there, we went to our workshop (making bracelets) till 18:00.
We then had free time in which we continued with the script. After dinner Bar G. and Inbar played volleyball and we were spectators. We also wrote personal notes of thanks to our Polish friends who helped us on the Israeli activity day and at the cemetery. We also wrote thanks in the gratitude book which will be read out later tonight at the fire-side.
