Wczorajszy dzień zaczął się tak jak poprzedni, ale jednak nieco inaczej. Obudziła nas głośna muzyka, do której część wstała w pełni, a część tylko otworzyła oczy leżąc dalej w ciepłych śpiworach.
Po wstaniu mieliśmy trochę czasu na zebranie się na zaprawę z dh. Aleksem. Następnie musieliśmy przejść na apel poranny gdzie była wystawiana flaga i ogłoszenie planu na dzisiejszy dzień. Po apelu poszliśmy od razu na śniadanko gdzie była możliwość skonsumowania pysznych kanapek z żółtym serem bądź szynką czy warzywami pokroju ogórek i pomidor.
Po zjedzeniu druhowie zebrali nas na zajęcia, które przygotowała grupa z Izraela. Całe zajęcia miały 5 punktów, opowiadały one o ich kulturze i tradycjach. Robiliśmy origami, graliśmy w głuchy telefon i mieliśmy quiz o Izraelu.
Kiedy skończyliśmy zajęcia był czas wolny gdzie mogliśmy zająć się sobą w dowolny sposób. o godzinie 14:00 wybraliśmy się na obiad przygotowany przez niezastąpione kuchmistrzynie, które ugotowały dla nas grochówkę i pyszne leczo.
O 16:00 zaczęły się przygotowania do Korowiska – w tym roku tematyka melodii to muzyka filmowa. Po kolei wywoływano piosenkę. Następnie wszyscy zaczynali wstępne przygotowania na występ.
Tuż przed kolają przygotowaliśmy się na szabat i zaczęła się uczta. Po szabacie zjedliśmy jak zwykle Korczakowską kolacje.
Ten pełen wrażeń dzień zakończył się tradycyjnie ogniskiem i apelem wieczornym.

Summary: Thursday 14.7.22 and Friday 15.7.22
The evening program began with the usual sing-along round the bonfire. This was followed by a personal and pleasant concert “Music from Movies” given by Ayala (one of the camp counselors). The concert was held on the lake-shore to the light of candles and the natural setting of lake, stars and night, magic that unites the camp.
The following morning, Friday, we awoke with filled with energy for the “Israeli Day” which we planned while still in Israel. The activities were based on exposing subjects connected to Israel in different ways. In pairs, our campers from Israel activated a station in five different spots within the camp. The activities were:
The activity organized by Ron and Itamar – Trivia, based on varied subjects connected to Israel.
Shira and Nofar taught the campers a song for Shabbat. They were accompanied by one of the Polish counselors, Mikolai. Later that evening the campers sang the song together with us before dinner.
Yuli and Jonathan played “Broken Telephone” (whispering an expression in one of the campers ears and it passes around to all the group participants, the final participant then says what he heard) – in this game the campers learnt slang expressions.
Gal and Eran’s activity was based on a letter sent from Kibbutz Ein Harod to Janusz Korczak in 1938 asking for his advice – How to handle the problem of children who come late to school.
Arad functioned alone teaching the campers how to make a flower from papers-folding. These flowers will be returned to the campers at the ceremony which will be held at the Jewish cemetery of Osna Lubiskie and they will be able to place them at aplace of their choice.
All the stations had a camper who acted as a translator whenever necessary.
As is customary we were spoilt by Renya with an afternoon goodie (16:00). The afternoon activity focused on preparing for the Korowisko, a kind of podcast based on a chosen song (ours – Always Look on the Bright side of Life). We then began to prepare the dining tent for the incoming Sabbath dinner – decorations (Israeli flags and a large Ankori flag), white paper table-cloths and blue serviettes on all 19 tables, aplastic wine-cup filled with grape-juice for each camper, “shkeday Marak” (special soup noodles from Israel for the chicken soup prepared by the kitchen and Chala bread.
The campers arrived for dinner wearing white shirts. At the side of each plate there was a special surprise gift from the Ankori Network (a small notebook with a pen).
The Sabbath service began with the blessing over the candles, for the wine (grape-juice), and bread. A short explanation conveying the importance of the blessing was given and before starting to eat we all sang the song which was taught earlier in the morning. Summing-up the day – we held a group meeting as has been customary till now. The experience so far has been positive, however, at the meeting the group also voiced problems that they were having all of which have been resolved.
